2024: Year in Review

While recovering from a running injury, Chad was advised (by medical and non-medical friends) that he should invest in a Playstation so he could play video games while sitting. Sitting is not something Chad is good at doing. This led to a purchase of Hogwarts Legacy, which although a single player game, has provided us both with hours of shared entertainment (I like exploring, he likes fighting).

Work From Home Office & Guest Room

The very first thing we did was sit down and sort through all of the clothes and toys. We then sorted out the closet, which had been a holding place for several boxes of things they had moved in with, and hadn’t opened since. Finally we attacked the desk, sorted everything, and discussed how she would like to use the room. When I left that day, we had an empty closet, and mostly clean floors.

However, it is more of an event calendar than a gift calendar.

How to Stop the Overflowing Baskets of Laundry From Taking Over Your House

The most important factor in the magic number AND capsule wardrobe is that everything you own, when washed, needs to fit in the space you have. If you have drawers fit to bursting, you can’t put anything away. Once you’ve pared down to what you need, make sure everything has a place where it fits. Each individual system will look different, but knowing what you have, what you need, and what fits (in your closet and your life), is a major step in getting the piles of laundry under control.
